Hayward Lakes Visitor Bureau

Web Design / Photography / Videography / Drone Photography / Social Media

  • The visitor bureau sought a new website that allowed visitors to locate its members easily and plan future vacations.

  • They required an easy to edit back-end so they could be self-reliant while continuously updating news and adding new members.

  • Control of the Hayward Lakes social media presence was also part of the project. Since taking over, there has been a 60% increase in engagement.

Website homepage that is seasonally updated with events.

I incorporated a modular grid on pillar pages across the website. Larger buckets on these pages indicate popular items visitors look at more. These were chosen from analytics collected by the client.

I designed a unique filtering system that was built custom for both the “Eat” and “Stay” pages. The icons were modeled after information shared in their activity guide.

One of the most iconic, and unique, locations in Hayward, Wisconsin is the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame. We have used it for many holiday celebrations over the years.
